\nThe new 5-Gig Internet service is now available to more than 500,000 homes passed throughout dozens of communities in Alabama, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, and Minnesota. Mediacom expects to extend 5-Gig availability to more than one million homes by year-end as part of its multi-gig deployment strategy.<\/p>
