\nMarking its 20th anniversary in 2026, Corvias Foundation celebrates a legacy of impact. The foundation has supported more than 500 military-connected families with more than $20 million in scholarship awards.<\/p>
\nIn total this year, Corvias Foundation is awarding $50,000 to children of Corvias employees, including a $5,000 scholarship for students attending a trade, technical or vocational program. The Corvias Foundation Employee Family Trade and Technical Scholarship recipient will be announced later this year. Applications<\/a> are now open.<\/p> \n\u201cEach student receiving this award has demonstrated the drive and commitment needed to succeed in college,\u201d said Julie Allen, Executive Director of Corvias Foundation. \u201cAlready, they have inspired us with exceptional maturity, future-focused thinking and perseverance. That\u2019s in addition to strong academic achievement and meaningful involvement beyond the classroom.\u201d<\/p> \nMeet the 2026 Scholarship Recipients<\/b><\/p> \nAshley Picazo<\/b><\/p> \nParent: Sergio Picazo-Luperico, painter at Fort Riley<\/p> \nGraduate: Junction City High School (Junction City, Kan.)<\/p> \nCollege: Biology, University of Kansas.<\/p> \nAs class president, National Honor Society member, and a peer tutor, Ashley has demonstrated a strong commitment to both academic excellence and peer leadership. \u201cAshley is an exceptional student who approaches life with resilience and a positive attitude,\u201d said Allen.<\/p> \nBraeden Williams<\/b><\/p> \nParent: Jeff Williams, SVP, Asset Management<\/p> \nGraduate: Northwood High School (Pittsboro, N.C.)<\/p> \nCollege: Communications, University of Kansas<\/p> \nBraeden is a multi-sport athlete, competing in wrestling, track, and football, while also contributing to Key Club. Allen remarked, \u201cNot only did Braeden excel on the field, he took initiative with increasingly rigorous honors courses too.\u201d<\/p> \nEvalina (Evie) Bordley<\/b><\/p> \nParent: Tabitha Vanderbeck, Program Office Assistant at Fort Bragg<\/p> \nGraduate: Terry Sanford High School (Fayetteville, N.C.)<\/p> \nCollege: Psychology and art, University of North Carolina Greensboro<\/p> \nEvie is a member of cheer squad <\/b>and volunteers in the community as a camp counselor and youth cheer coach.
