HUNTLEY, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today the United States Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit, issued an opinion rejecting Globus\u2019s last-remaining patent claim against Life Spine.<\/p><\/a><\/a>

\nIn 2021, Globus sued Life Spine alleging that Life Spine\u2019s ProLift\u00ae line of products infringed Globus patents. Life Spine challenged the patentability of several of the patents and, in 2024, the United States Patent Trial & Appeal Board cancelled all of the claims from four patents that Globus had asserted against Life Spine.<\/p>

\nIn August 2025, a jury trial was held on Globus\u2019s remaining patent claims in the United States District Court, District of Delaware. The jury rejected Globus\u2019 infringement claims on one of the two remaining patents. Today, the Federal Circuit held that Globus\u2019s only remaining infringement claims were based on an invalid patent.<\/p>

\nAs a result, Life Spine has now successfully defeated all of Globus\u2019s infringement claims.<\/p>
