We\u2019re thrilled to be showcasing our work across all areas of the festival\u2019s programme and highlighting our creative strength and resilience during a time of continued industry-wide challenges \u2013 and this breakthrough across both our film and TV pipelines is testament to our commitment to creating and supporting striking and original content.\u201d<\/p><p>\nScreening as part of Annecy\u2019s \u2018Work in Progress\u2019 sessions, upcoming feature film <b><i>The Wolf<\/i><\/b> is co-written and directed by Benjamin Massoubre and Fursy Tessier \u2013 who previously collaborated on Xilam\u2019s 2020 Academy Award-nominated <i>I Lost My Body. <\/i>It is produced by Xilam\u2019s Marc du Pontavice, with Sabine Dabadie (\u2018Ourika\u2019) also serving as co-writer, and follows Gaspard, a hardened shepherd haunted by the death of his son, whose apparent tranquility is shattered by the menacing appearance of a stray wolf. The session will be followed by a book signing with author Jean Marc Rochette, for the graphic novel on which the film is based.<\/p><p>\nAfter its 2025 \u2018Work in Progress\u2019 session, <b><i>Lucy Lost<\/i><\/b><i> <\/i>is screening this year as part of Annecy\u2019s Official Competition. Based on award-winning author and previous British Children\u2019s Laureate Michael Morpurgo\u2019s 2014 novel <span class=\"bwuline\">Listen to the Moon<\/span>, <i>Lucy Lost<\/i> is co-written and directed by Olivier Clert (<i>Klaus, Little Prince<\/i>), and is co-written with Helen Blakeman (\u201cDustbin Baby\u201d, \u201cHetty Feather\u201d) and produced by Xilam\u2019s Marc du Pontavice. The feature was produced at Xilam\u2019s animation studio, and Goodfellas is handling international sales on the project, with French broadcasters Canal+ and Cin\u00e9+ OCS previously acquiring pay-TV rights. The film will be released in French theatres October 28<sup>th<\/sup> through Le Pacte.<\/p><p>\nAlso following a successful \u2018Work in Progress\u2019 session in 2024, supernatural horror comedy series <b><i>The Doomies <\/i><\/b>will screen in the TV Films category. Produced by Xilam in association with Disney Television Animation, the series is created by R\u00e9mi Zaarour, Andr\u00e8s Fernandez, Henry Gifford and directed by Andr\u00e8s Fernandez \u2013 and will premiere on Disney+ during the Annecy festival on 26<sup>th<\/sup> June with 22 half-hour episodes, along with a new short-form series featuring four episodes.<\/p><p>\nRounding out Xilam\u2019s TV activity, original 2D series <b><i>Submarine Jim<\/i><\/b> is premiering in France on Wednesday 24<sup>th<\/sup> June, with the first 26 episodes launching on Okoo, France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions\u2019 FVOD platform for kids. The series launched this year in the UK &amp; Ireland on CBBC &amp; iPlayer, in French speaking Switzerland on RTS and on Cartoon Network in Latin America and South East Asia.
