KYOTO, Japan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nidec Corporation (TOKYO: 6594; OTC US: NJDCY) (the \u201cCompany\u201d or \u201cwe\u201d) hereby announces that, as announced in our release titled \u201cDetermination of Director Candidates for New Nidec\u201d dated May 13, 2026, the Company has been proceeding with a review of the composition of its Board of Directors as part of its efforts to strengthen corporate governance, with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness of the Board through the appointment of directors possessing diverse knowledge, experience and expertise.<\/p><\/a><\/a>

\nAt the 53rd Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held today, June 18, 2026 (the \u201cAnnual General Meeting\u201d), all Company-proposed director candidates were duly elected and approved. Following the Annual General Meeting, the Board of Directors and the Audit and Supervisory Committee convened and resolved the Company\u2019s board and committee structure as set out below.<\/p>
