The Project represents the next phase of growth and supports the long-term operational continuity of the Mantos Blancos mine in Antofagasta, Chile.<\/p><br\/><a href=\"https:\/\/mms.businesswire.com\/media\/20260619658841\/en\/1398265\/5\/Capstone_Copper_Logo.jpg\"><img src=\"https:\/\/mms.businesswire.com\/media\/20260619658841\/en\/1398265\/22\/Capstone_Copper_Logo.jpg\" \/><\/a><br\/><a href=\"https:\/\/mms.businesswire.com\/media\/20260619658841\/en\/1398265\/5\/Capstone_Copper_Logo.jpg\"><img src=\"https:\/\/mms.businesswire.com\/media\/20260619658841\/en\/1398265\/21\/Capstone_Copper_Logo.jpg\" \/><\/a><p>\n<b>Project Details<\/b><\/p><p>\nMantos Blancos Phase II contemplates an expansion of the sulphide concentrator plant throughput capacity to at least 27,000 ore tonnes per day (\u201ctpd\u201d), from the current design throughput capacity of 20,000 tpd. The expansion considers new equipment for concentrate filtration, thickening and filtering of tailings, as well as upgrades to existing process operations.<\/p><p>\nIn addition, the Project supports future operations of Mantos Blancos by contemplating the construction and operation of a new in-pit tailings storage facility beyond 2030 while strengthening environmental management of the operation's existing baseline conditions.<\/p><p>\nThe submission of the full EIA permit application for the Project is expected to be followed by the release of a pre-feasibility study outlining further project details during Q3 2026.<\/p><p>\nFollowing receipt of environmental approvals and sectoral permits, as well as approximately one year of construction, expanded production is expected to commence between 2030 and 2031.<\/p><p>\n<b><span class=\"bwuline\">About Capstone Copper Corp.<\/span><\/b><\/p><p>\nCapstone Copper Corp. is an Americas-focused copper mining company headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
