<\/a><\/a>\nThe company\u2019s new 190,000\u2011square\u2011foot, three-building campus supports its growth, with plans to add a total of 1,500 new jobs in Tampa. To date, GEICO has filled more than 500 of these roles and plans to hire an additional 500 employees through 2026, with further hiring expected in 2027. The insurer now has approximately 4,400 employees in Florida, including locations in Tampa, Lakeland and Jacksonville, as well as additional offices statewide.<\/p>
\nThe ribbon-cutting marked the latest milestone in GEICO\u2019s expansion and was hosted by campus leaders Amy Wolfe, Head of Insurance Services, and Denise O\u2019Malley, Head of Sales Operations. The event included remarks from State Rep. Susan Vald\u00e9s, District 64, and Craig Richard, President and CEO of the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council.<\/p>
\nGEICO announced plans to expand in the Sunshine State in March 2025<\/a>, with career opportunities spanning insurance sales, service, and claims roles, as well as leadership development positions.
