(the \u201c<b>Company<\/b>\u201d) announced yesterday that it has commenced proceedings under the <i>Companies\u2019 Creditors Arrangement Act<\/i> (\u201c<b>CCAA<\/b>\u201d) pursuant to an initial order (the \u201cInitial Order\u201d) from the Court of King\u2019s Bench of Manitoba (the \u201c<b>Court<\/b>\u201d). The Company is a specialty fashion retailer serving customers through its <i>Warehouse One<\/i> and <i>Bootlegger <\/i>banners.<\/p><br\/><a href=\"https:\/\/mms.businesswire.com\/media\/20260507582589\/en\/2799211\/5\/WH1-Tagline_Lockup_Variations-2023-02.jpg\"><img src=\"https:\/\/mms.businesswire.com\/media\/20260507582589\/en\/2799211\/22\/WH1-Tagline_Lockup_Variations-2023-02.jpg\" \/><\/a><br\/><a href=\"https:\/\/mms.businesswire.com\/media\/20260507582589\/en\/2799211\/5\/WH1-Tagline_Lockup_Variations-2023-02.jpg\"><img src=\"https:\/\/mms.businesswire.com\/media\/20260507582589\/en\/2799211\/21\/WH1-Tagline_Lockup_Variations-2023-02.jpg\" \/><\/a><p>\nAfter careful consideration of all reasonably available options, the Company has made the difficult decision to commence the CCAA proceedings to allow for an orderly wind down of its operations, including all Warehouse One and Bootlegger retail locations.<\/p><p>\nThe Company intends to return to Court in the coming days to seek a further order approving the liquidation of its 128 retail stores across Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and the Yukon.<\/p><p>\nPursuant to the Initial Order, Alvarez &amp; Marsal Canada Inc. was appointed as the CCAA Monitor.
