\nBrus joined Wixted & Company as a communication advisor in 2012 and most recently served as vice president and managing director. \nBrus was named to the 2025 Des Moines Business Record 40 under 40 class and serves on the board of the PRSA Iowa Chapter. He is also a member of the Iowa Arts Council, appointed by the Governor, and previously served on the advisory board of the Central Iowa Salvation Army. A native of Denison, Iowa, Brus earned his bachelor\u2019s degree from the University of Iowa and a master\u2019s degree in public communication from American University in Washington, D.C.<\/p>
