On July 2, 2026, at approximately 2:00 p.m. Eastern, Reuters reported Google had \u201cdisabled accounts and services used in NetNut,<\/b><\/i>\u201d Alarum\u2019s subsidiary, alleging NetNut was connected to the dangerous botnet Popa, and was being \u201cused to conceal and route malicious online traffic.<\/b><\/i>\u201d Google reportedly had \u201cshared technical intelligence on the group's infrastructure with law enforcement and industry \u2060partners to support broader enforcement efforts.\u201d<\/p>

On this news, the Company\u2019s share price fell $1.67 or 20.81%, to close at $6.35 on July 2, 2026, on unusually heavy trading volume.<\/p>

Then, on July 2, 2026, after the market closed, Bloomberg News reported the \u201cFBI seized multiple internet domains as part of a \u2018coordinated law enforcement targeting infrastructure associated with NetNut\u2019s residential proxy platforms, its administrators and its users<\/b><\/i>.\u2019\u201d Bloomberg News revealed the FBI investigation has been ongoing \u201cfor more than a year.\u201d<\/p>
