David joins from Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where he spent more than two decades, most recently as senior counsel.<\/p><\/a><\/a>

\nA highly respected litigator, David\u2019s practice has centered on representing some of the most prominent names in private equity and finance. He focuses on securities and commercial litigation and government investigations, defending companies, boards, and executives in shareholder, derivative, M&A, and antitrust disputes, as well as in matters before the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, and other regulatory agencies.<\/p>

His recent matters include defending JPMorgan in litigation arising from Puerto Rico\u2019s bankruptcy, Chubb in connection with the Boy Scouts of America bankruptcy, and TD Bank in shareholder litigation arising from Schwab\u2019s $22 billion acquisition of Ameritrade.<\/p>
