HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#AccelerateLearning<\/a>--The National Institute for STEM Education<\/a> (NISE) has reached a major milestone, certifying its 10,000th<\/sup> educator through the National Certificate for STEM Teaching<\/a> (NCST) program. NISE, founded by Accelerate Learning<\/a>, certifies teachers, schools, and districts in STEM teaching.<\/p><\/a><\/a>

The NCST is a competency-based professional learning program for preK-12 teachers. It focuses on high-impact STEM instructional strategies that work synergistically across content areas and grade levels. Educators who earn the NCST demonstrate a strong commitment to implementing research-based STEM practices that engage students in critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and real-world learning experiences.<\/p>
