NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Macy\u2019s, Inc. (NYSE: M) today announced the appointment of Alexandre (Alex) Choueiri as Chief Executive Officer of Bluemercury. Choueiri will join the company on August 3, 2026, reporting directly to Olivier Bron, Chief Executive Officer of Bloomingdale\u2019s. In this role, Choueiri will lead Bluemercury\u2019s overall business and growth strategy, building on the brand\u2019s position as a leading luxury beauty retailer.<\/p><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>

\nChoueiri brings more than 25 years of global luxury beauty experience spanning North America, Europe and Asia. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer & President, Americas, at Kering Beaut\u00e9, where he led the company\u2019s largest region, strengthened Creed\u2019s position in luxury fragrance and helped launch new fragrance brands, including Bottega Veneta and Balenciaga. Prior to Kering Beaut\u00e9, Choueiri spent more than two decades at L\u2019Or\u00e9al in a series of leadership roles, including Global President of Ralph Lauren Fragrances. Earlier in his career, he worked as a strategy consultant with Bain & Company in France and Australia.<\/p>
