LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#grants<\/a>--California small businesses can now apply for a new round of California Paid Family Leave (PFL) grants, with funding of up to $2,000 per employee.<\/p><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>

\nThe grants help businesses offset costs associated with employees taking Paid Family Leave, including cross-training current staff and hiring and training new or temporary employees to maintain operations during an employee\u2019s absence.<\/p>

\nCalifornia\u2019s Paid Family Leave program provides eligible employees with up to eight weeks of wage-replacement benefits for qualifying reasons, including bonding with a new child or caring for a seriously ill family member.<\/p>

\nBusinesses with 1\u2013100 employees may qualify if at least one employee used California Paid Family Leave on or after June 30, 2026.<\/p>
