The appointment strengthens the firm\u2019s private equity and human capital expertise as organizations confront increasingly complex operating model, talent, and growth challenges.<\/p><\/a><\/a>

\nCohen leads the Human Capital function at Kelso & Company, applying talent and human resources best practices to enhance the firm\u2019s investment process and portfolio company performance, and support the firm\u2019s specialist network.<\/p>

\nPreviously, Cohen held senior leadership roles at American Securities, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and General Electric. Over a 35-plus-year career, he has built and scaled organizations globally, with extensive experience launching and developing operations in India, China, Southeast Asia, and Japan. He began his career as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer, managing a rural development organization in Botswana.<\/p>
