HALIFAX, NS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#CUPE<\/a>--After 5 weeks of strike, 2 more long term care homes are expected to join the strike this week, bringing the total number of striking homes to 34 with approximately 3,300 workers on picket lines province-wide.<\/p><\/a><\/a>

\nInverary Manor, represented by Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) 1485, and Foyer P\u00e8re Fiset, represented by CUPE 2031, will begin their strike on May 14 at 7 AM at 15786 Central Ave, Inverness, <\/b>and Foyer P\u00e8re Fiset, 15092 Cabot trail road, Ch\u00e9ticamp<\/b>, respectively.<\/p>

\nOther CUPE long term care workers will be picketing at the following locations this week:<\/p>
