TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#CarterFunds<\/a>--Carter Funds, a fully integrated real estate acquisition and alternative investment management firm, today announced the appointment of Deron Richens as Senior Vice President, Internal Sales and Distribution. In this role, Mr. Richens will lead internal sales efforts across the firm\u2019s investment platform, including Aphorio Carter, Carter Exchange and Carter Multifamily, supporting the continued growth and expansion of the company\u2019s distribution strategy nationwide.<\/p><\/a><\/a>

\nMr. Richens brings more than 25 years of experience in third-party distribution, building and scaling high-performing sales and distribution organizations across real estate, alternative investments, annuities, and other financial products. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Head of Internal Sales at Bluerock Capital Markets, where he played an instrumental role in driving sales and assets under management growth while enhancing sales processes and CRM strategies for the firm\u2019s distribution team.<\/p>

\nPrior to joining Bluerock, Mr. Richens served as Senior Vice President, Internal Sales at Griffin Capital Securities, where he was responsible for supporting and expanding sales growth and assets under management for non-traded REITs and interval funds. During his tenure, he also led sales training initiatives and helped advance the firm\u2019s data and distribution strategy.<\/p>

\nEarlier in his career, Mr. Richens held leadership roles with MetLife Investors and AXA Distributors where he gained extensive experience in third-party distribution, internal sales leadership, and advisor training initiatives across bank and annuities in both domestic and international markets.<\/p>
