<\/a>\nThese findings are drawn from the 2026 Airport Tracker<\/a>, published today by ODI Global<\/b> in partnership with T&E (Transport & Environment)<\/a>, drawing on data from the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT). The updated tracker covers 1,300 airports worldwide<\/b> and reveals that Asia-Pacific now accounts for 32% of global aviation CO\u2082 emissions<\/b> \u2014 the highest of any region and more than Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa combined.<\/p> \nGlobally, the top 100 airports are responsible for approximately two-thirds of all passenger aviation emissions, while just 2.3% of all airports have Scope 3 net-zero plans in place.
