The new location supports JST\u2019s long\u2011term strategy to deliver faster lead times, localized factory acceptance testing, and enhanced customer collaboration in the United States.<\/p><p>\nSituated within the Fairview Industrial Park, the Wytheville campus will focus on the manufacturing of liquid\u2011filled, pad\u2011mounted single\u2011phase and three\u2011phase transformers ranging from <b>25 kVA to 6,000 kVA up to 35 kV<\/b>. Initial production capacity is planned at approximately <b>150 units in 2026, scaling to 1,000 units beginning in 2027<\/b>, supporting both near\u2011term and long\u2011term customer demand.<\/p><p>\n\u201cOpening our Wytheville facility is an exciting milestone for JST Power Equipment,\u201d said <b>Matthew Polk, Executive Vice President<\/b>. \u201cThis investment allows us to manufacture closer to our U.S. customers, comply with local and regional sourcing requirements, and provide the high level of service and responsiveness our customers expect. JST expects to initially employ <b>25\u201330 manufacturing professionals and 10\u201320 office and engineering staff<\/b>, with additional hiring anticipated as production ramps in the coming years.<\/p><p>\nThe Wytheville opening builds on JST\u2019s recent global expansion, which includes manufacturing operations in <b>Mexico, China, Malaysia, and multiple U.S. locations<\/b>, enabling the company to better serve customers across Europe, North America, and Asia.
