\nLocally owned contractor partners with Owens Corning and Purple Heart Homes to provide a new roof for U.S. Navy veteran Patrick Santos Jr.<\/i><\/b><\/p><\/a><\/a>

LEWISTON, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#OwensCorning<\/a>--On May 4, 2026, Russell Quality Roofing<\/a> completed a donated roof installation for U.S. Navy veteran and retired law enforcement sergeant Patrick Santos Jr. at his home in Lewiston, Idaho. The project was part of the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project<\/a>, a nationwide initiative that honors military veterans and their families with new roofs.<\/p>

\nThrough a partnership with Purple Heart Homes<\/a>, a nonprofit that provides housing solutions for service-connected disabled and aging veterans, Santos was selected and approved as the recipient for the roof replacement. The Owens Corning Foundation donated all roofing materials, and Russell Quality Roofing donated the labor to complete the installation in a single day.<\/p>

\n\u201cThis project is about more than roofing. It\u2019s about honoring the people who have served our country and this community,\u201d said Reuben Russell, owner of Russell Quality Roofing. \u201cWe\u2019re grateful for the opportunity to give back alongside Owens Corning and Purple Heart Homes.\u201d<\/p>

\nThe project also drew support from fellow Lewiston businesses. Living Waters Lawn & Landscape <\/a>contributed grounds cleanup and maintenance at the Santos home, and Bill Jollymore of Jollymore\u2019s Restaurant<\/a> offered a complimentary dinner for the Santos family.<\/p>

\nSince 2016, the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project has provided new roofs to more than 775 military veterans across the country. Russell Quality Roofing has participated in the program multiple times, reflecting the company\u2019s long-standing commitment to community service.<\/p>
