Gautam Shah Brings Global Cross-Sector Experience in Healthcare and Technology

Shah will lead the expansion and evolution of NextGen’s award-winning portfolio of solutions—driving AI-led innovation that reimagines core platforms and customer experiences aligned to a rapidly changing healthcare landscape.

Shah’s 25 years of global experience span product management, AI, digital transformation, clinical workflow optimization, healthcare finance, and patient experience solutions. Most recently, he served as Chief Product Officer at Carelon, where he led product strategy, lifecycle management, go-to-market, and product delivery across a broad portfolio, including analytics, behavioral health, clinical care, data, RCM, utilization management, and AI solutions.

Shah holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from California State Polytechnic University and an Executive MBA from Pepperdine University. He also has ten patents granted for innovations in experience personalization and service delivery. Shah lives in San Francisco.
