FTV Capital Appoints Scott Levine as Managing Director of Strategic Business Development

Seasoned technology executive to build on FTV’s longstanding Global Partner Network®, strengthening enterprise connectivity and commercial opportunities for portfolio companies

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FTV Capital, a leading sector-focused growth equity investment firm with more than 28 years of experience partnering with high-growth technology and services companies, today announced the appointment of Scott Levine as managing director of strategic business development. In this newly created role, Levine will oversee FTV’s Global Partner Network (GPN) and broader business development platform, working across the firm’s investment, value creation and portfolio teams to deepen market intelligence, broaden enterprise relationships and accelerate strategic and commercial opportunities for portfolio companies.

A cornerstone of FTV’s growth equity model since its founding, the GPN is a strategic network comprising more than 600 senior executives from over 200 global organizations spanning enterprise technology, financial services, healthcare, insurance and other core FTV sectors. For nearly three decades, the firm has cultivated trusted relationships with enterprise decision-makers to generate market feedback, deepen insight into evolving technology priorities, identify strategic partnerships and support business development. In 2025, FTV facilitated over 400 commercial, strategic and operational introductions through the network.

“The Global Partner Network is critical to our thematic investing approach and how we drive growth for our portfolio companies,” said Karen Derr Gilbert, partner and COO at FTV Capital. “As enterprise needs evolve across AI, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and digital transformation, we are investing further in the scale and reach of this successful platform. Scott brings a rare combination of technology investing experience, corporate development leadership and deep relationships across the technology ecosystem, coupled with firsthand perspective on the AI and infrastructure trends shaping the enterprise. We’re thrilled to welcome him to FTV to help us further expand the GPN and elevate the impact of our business development efforts.”

Levine brings more than two decades of experience at the intersection of technology investing, corporate development and strategic partnerships, with deep expertise across enterprise software, AI and cloud. Most recently, he drove corporate development and M&A initiatives for Amazon Web Services, focusing on strategic growth areas including AI infrastructure, semiconductors, energy, cloud migration, storage, supply chain and quantum computing. Previously, Levine held senior investment and corporate development roles at Samsung, Time Warner, Sony Music Entertainment and General Atlantic.

“Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand the influence that enterprise connectivity and market intelligence have in helping technology companies grow and scale,” said Levine. “FTV has built a truly differentiated platform through its Global Partner Network, and I look forward to working with the firm’s best-in-class business development team to build on that strong foundation, deepen engagement with enterprise technology leaders and translate the strength of FTV’s ecosystem into tangible value for the firm and its portfolio companies.”
