SpotOn Opens Hawaiʻi Technology Showroom to Better Serve Local Restaurant and Hospitality Operators
Hawaiʻi restaurant operators finally have a local technology partner. SpotOn opens a new showroom in Kakaʻako district, built to deliver hands-on technology, onboarding, training, and dedicated local support for restaurant operators across the islands.
HONOLULU--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#Restaurants--SpotOn, a leading restaurant technology and financial services company, announced the opening of its new Hawaiʻi showroom. Located at KEAWE Retail in Our Kakaʻako, SpotOn’s dedicated showroom is designed for restaurant and hospitality operators to experience restaurant technology firsthand in a live and interactive environment, marking a major commitment to the state’s restaurant and hospitality community.
Inspired by modern hospitality and technology experiences, the showroom was designed as a hands-on space where restaurant and bar owners, operators and managers can explore SpotOn’s technology in real world scenarios alongside SpotOn’s local Hawaiʻi team. The space features live bar and restaurant environments, a full product wall, and fully functioning point-of-sale systems, handhelds, kiosks, and SpotOn’s complete software ecosystem including Teamwork, Reservations, labor management, online ordering, and Profit Assist tools.
The showroom will also serve as a dedicated onboarding, implementation, and training center for new clients preparing to go live, allowing management teams and staff to train with the technology in advance and ensure a smoother transition from existing systems.
“Six years ago, we first began connecting with Hawai‘i’s entrepreneurs,” said Chris Lombardi, Senior Vice President of Sales. “Now, we’re truly local and on the ground, supporting 100s of island restaurants with a team that shows up and cares as much about their success as they do. Opening our new Hawai‘i office brings the journey full circle, giving restaurateurs real‑time support with one simple goal: help every restaurant thrive, just like we’ve done from day one.”
The opening reflects SpotOn’s broader investment in Hawaiʻi, including building localized infrastructure and expanding in market support for restaurant operators statewide. In addition to the showroom experience, SpotOn is growing its local Hawaiʻi team to provide hands-on implementation, onboarding, training, hardware deployment, and ongoing support tailored to the unique needs of businesses across the islands.
“Technology is powerful, but restaurant operators also need partners who show up, understand their business, and are invested in their local community,” said Zach Hyman, Chief Executive Officer of SpotOn. “Opening a physical space in Hawaiʻi is our way of putting down roots and making it clear that we’re here to support Hawaiʻi restaurants for the long term. Hawaiʻi is the first market where we've introduced this showroom concept, and our plan is to keep showing up in person in the communities we serve.”
Located in the center of Honolulu’s growing restaurant community, the showroom will serve as a hub for live demos, onboarding, implementation, operator training, and ongoing support for both current and prospective clients across Hawaiʻi.
“Our business partner SpotOn opening a local Hawaiʻi office shows they take their Hawaiʻi restaurants very seriously,” said Jun Tadiarca, General Manager, Empire Steakhouse Waikiki. “Having a team of local and national experts right here means faster support, better service, and a partner who’s truly invested in helping us run our business.”
To celebrate the grand opening, SpotOn will host a private event on July 11, 2026, welcoming local restaurant owners, operators, and hospitality professionals to tour the space and experience the platform firsthand. The event will include a traditional Hawaiian blessing ceremony and lion dance performance to honor the occasion and celebrate SpotOn’s growing commitment to Hawaiʻi’s hospitality community.
“We’re not here to simply sell technology in Hawaiʻi. We’re building a long term local operation dedicated to supporting the hospitality industry here,” said Stephanie Rodriguez, Managing Director, Hawaiʻi Market, SpotOn. “That means local implementation, onboarding, training, rapid support, and a team that understands the unique needs of operators across the islands. We’re incredibly grateful for the support and welcome we’ve received from the Hawaiʻi community, and we look forward to continuing to build long-term partnerships that help local operators succeed.”
With its new Hawaiʻi showroom, SpotOn is deepening its commitment in the local restaurant and hospitality community by pairing innovative technology with the in-person partnership operators needed to succeed.
